Us Weekly losing subscribers after Palin smear issue

Michelle Malkin reports that US Weekly has lost as many as 10,000 subscribers after the release of its Palin smear issue. They are not alone, of course. Other big magazines, such as National Enquirer and Rolling Stone, have also jumped on the Palin-hate wagon.

It’s embarrassing how obvious the bias is in the media today. At this point, I doubt that editors are even trying to disguise it anymore. They repeatedly make remarks concerning her status as a woman that we didn’t see when Senator Clinton was the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

It’s amusing that the media delves into the private life of Governor Palin, yet they ignore that of Barack Obama. Why not publish an article about his ties to domestic terrorist William Ayers, Us Weekly? Why not publish an article about his exposure to the corrupt and notorious Chicago political machine? Why not publish an article about Michelle Obama’s college thesis, in which she claims that she has “never been proud of America”? When Bill Clinton was busy getting busy in the oval office, the media (and Clinton’s loyal supporters) said that this was his private life and that we should keep our noses out. Where was the “Clinton: Lies and Scandal” article in ‘98, Us Weekly?
